The City of Torrance Sanitation Division is offering a new level of service that will include refuse, recycling, and green waste recycling collection for homes with City service.
-
The fee charged for monthly service will be tied only to the size of the refuse (black) container.
-
For residents that require additional refuse containers, a resident must first have the 96-gallon container. Each additional refuse container will be 75% of the price of the 64-gallon container, regardless of what size the second container is.
-
Recycling (gray) and green waste recycling (green) containers are also available in both 64 and 96 gallon sizes. Residents may choose which size best suits their needs. The sizes of these containers will not affect monthly fees. Additional containers for recycling and green waste services are free.
-
Whenever a change in any container size is made, the container cannot be changed again for a minimum of six (6) months.
-
